Crash Closes Surf Drive Bathhouse Building Indefinitely

FALMOUTH — A motor vehicle crashed into the Ellen T. Mitchell Bathhouse Beach Administration Building at 56 Surf Drive on the morning of August 10, forcing an indefinite closure and pushing beach parking sticker sales to Town Hall.

The town's Beach Department confirmed the Surf Drive bathhouse building will remain closed until further notice following the crash. In the meantime, residents and visitors can buy beach parking permit stickers at 59 Town Hall Square, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the town said in an alert posted Monday afternoon.
