FALMOUTH — Falmouth Patch reported a fisherman's catch of a 1,260-pound marlin off the Massachusetts coast this weekend, a fish so large the boat's captain initially mistook it for a shark. Closer to home, the town wrapped up its 95-gallon trash cart request survey, and Falmouth Public Library branches lined up a full slate of family programs for the week ahead.
