Sandwich Soccer Club announces fall registration is open, with an early-bird discount for families who sign up by July 15.

SANDWICH -- The Sandwich Soccer Club (SSC) has opened online registration for the Fall 2026 season, with sign-ups available through August 7. Families who register before July 15 will save $25 on the registration fee. The club also shared news from the South Coast Soccer League, which announced on June 8 that it will not adopt new age-based registration requirements proposed by US Youth Soccer; all SSC registrations will continue on a grade-based system.

TOWN -- The Sandwich Recreation Department lists several summer programs on its website, including a Summer Baseball Clinic, Summer Golf, and a RideAway program, along with general summer youth offerings. Oak Crest Cove Park on Quaker Meetinghouse Road remains open to the public, featuring a community-designed skate park, two regulation tennis courts, and six pickleball courts. Court reservations can be made by calling 508-888-4361. Registration for all Recreation Department programs is available through the department's MyRec portal.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- In addition to the soccer registration news above, Sandwich Youth Baseball & Softball (Sandwich Little League) lists an active Summer Blast tournament on its site; no scores or schedules for the current period were reported. Sandwich Youth Basketball, Sandwich Youth Lacrosse, and the Sandwich 100 Club (supporting Sandwich High School hockey) had no new activity reported for this period.
