Sewer Project Keeps Two Falmouth Roads Closed on Weekdays
FALMOUTH — Brick Kiln Road and the Maravista Avenue Extension remain closed to through traffic on weekdays as the town's ongoing sewer project construction continues, according to a town update posted this week, while Falmouth's library branches and community arts groups kept the weekend busy with a multi-artist showcase and family programming.

The town's sewer project construction will keep Brick Kiln Road closed between Sandwich Road and Oxbow Road, and the Maravista Avenue Extension closed between Teaticket Highway and Mattapan Street, according to a construction update posted to the town's website. Both closures run 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, meaning commuters and residents in those corridors should expect the detours to continue through the coming work week.

Falmouth Community Television at 310 Dillingham Ave. hosted "It's a Summer Mix," a multi-artist show, on Sunday, giving local performers a stage as part of the venue's ongoing community-event calendar. At the Falmouth Public Library, a new "Road to Revolution: The Boston Tea Party" program is set to run all day Monday, part of the library's push to mark Massachusetts' Revolutionary War history alongside its regular slate of lawn games, maker sessions and story times across the Main, East Falmouth and North Falmouth branches.
