Harwich's Select Board honored a town lifeguard for his work on the beaches this summer.

HARWICH -- At the Aug. 10 Select Board meeting, Assistant Town Administrator Jim Mulcahy recognized lifeguard Sean Krause, calling him "one of our outstanding lifeguards." Krause was called up to be honored, joined by John Losey, described as the town's "program specialist three," who Mulcahy said is also involved in overseeing the lifeguard program. No other town, high school, youth league or community sports items were reported in Harwich sources for the week of Aug. 10-16.
