HARWICH — The Planning Board released a $300,000 Arthur's Way performance bond with two conditions. Chair Duncan Berry presided as the board voted unanimously to release the bond after Christine Flynn, director of planning and community development, recommended it. The applicant must identify 46 survey markers on a revised as-built plan and submit a water quality unit maintenance manual.

Attorney Jim Roberti said renewing the bond would cost his client about $30,000. The board also continued the Queen Anne Road landscaping yard hearing to Sept. 8, and learned that MEMA will reimburse $18,000 for the hazard mitigation plan. Harwich counts 60 of the 66 units needed for a two-year safe harbor.
