Sandwich Pulls Short-Term Rental Survey Offline to Fix Error
SANDWICH — The town has taken its short-term rental survey offline to correct a technical error, with a new version expected to return in about a month, even as two road resurfacing projects and a police department re-accreditation moved through town business this week.
TOWN HALL
The Town of Sandwich pulled its short-term rental survey from its website after discovering an error, according to a notice posted on the town's official site. Officials said the survey will be reissued in roughly a month and thanked residents for their patience "as we ensure community input on this important topic is accurately reflected."
The Sandwich Police Department has earned re-accreditation from the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission, the town announced, a credential the department has now secured more than once.
The town also announced two road projects: paving on Highfield Drive, originally scheduled earlier, has been rescheduled for Thursday, Aug. 13, and resurfacing work on Kiahs Way is set to begin Monday, Aug. 10, running from Quaker Meetinghouse Road to Mill Road. Crews will work weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Kiahs Way.
