Cotuit Center for the Arts Books Jazz Trio for Aug. 11 Show

Cotuit Center for the Arts will host jazz musicians Steve Wilson, Renee Rosnes and David Wong on Aug. 11 as part of the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival, one of several theater, music and history bookings added to the town's cultural calendar this week.

Cotuit Center for the Arts, 4404 Falmouth Road, will present the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival jazz set featuring Steve Wilson, Renee Rosnes and David Wong on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 5:30 p.m. The venue will also host the Renaissance String Quartet's "Artistic Explosion" program on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 9 a.m.

Hyannis Arts Hall, 81 Willow Ave., will stage "The Rainmaker," a classic American drama, on Thursday, Aug. 6, at 9 p.m.

The Cape Cod Maritime Museum, 135 South St., has three History on Tap talks on its calendar: "Female Lighthouse Keepers of Cape Cod" on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 5 p.m.; "Talking Pictures," a discussion of World War II-era photos of Camp Edwards and Cape Cod, on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 5 p.m.; and a talk on climate clues from New England whaling ship logbooks on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m.
