Dennis Extends Comprehensive Plan Survey Deadline to August 9

DENNIS — The town has extended the deadline for its Local Comprehensive Plan community survey to Sunday, August 9, giving residents more time to weigh in on Dennis's long-range priorities before officials shape the plan further.

The Dennis Local Comprehensive Plan survey, first opened to residents in July, remains available through August 9 for anyone who wants to share input on the town's future growth and priorities, according to the town's website. An informational video accompanies the survey for residents who want more context before responding.

Separately, the town is seeking nominations for the Dennis Public Service Award, an annual recognition honoring outstanding service by appointed or elected members of the town's boards, committees and commissions.

COMING UP

The Local Comprehensive Plan survey closes Sunday, August 9. Ahead of that, the town's meeting calendar is active this week: the Assembly of Delegates meets Wednesday, August 5; the Alternative Energy Advisory Committee and the Conservation Commission both meet Thursday, August 6; and the Select Board meets Tuesday, August 11.
