Eastham Select Board approves property taking, backs housing grant in 15-minute session

Eastham Select Board clears six unanimous votes in a record 15-minute meeting. The board, with Chair Jerry Cerasale participating remotely and Vice Chair Suzanne Bryan presiding, voted 5-0 Monday to reappoint Lisa Radke to the Board of Registrars, seat Sarah Moriarty as a Board of Health alternate and Kevin Munroe to the Historical Commission, accept the resignation of Julie Litmann from the Search Committee, sign a letter of support for the FY26 Community Development Block Grant housing rehabilitation program currently serving 11 families, and approve an Order of Taking for properties at 2845 and 2825 State Highway to be used as a pump station site in the town's wastewater project. Town Manager Jacqui Beebe reported the wastewater project remains on schedule, with a bid expected to go out in March covering the treatment plant and the first collection system phase, though construction would not begin until fall.
