Falmouth High School has opened registration for its 2026 fall sports season, with tryouts scheduled to begin next month.

TOWN -- The Falmouth Recreation Department's Gus Canty Community Center is operating on summer hours, open Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. The center is closed Saturdays and Sundays.

HIGH SCHOOL -- Registration for Falmouth High School's 2026 fall sports season is now open through FamilyID, according to the school's athletics page. All athletes must register through the platform and have a current physical on file with the nursing office, or supply one at their first tryout or practice. Tryouts and practices for all fall sports are set to begin Monday, Aug. 24. Fall sports include football, field hockey, cross country, boys golf, volleyball, girls soccer, boys soccer and cheerleading, among others. Coaches listed for questions include Stephen Aborn (football), Rachael Curtis (field hockey), Connor Markham (cross country), Jim Brooks (boys golf), Nikki Shea (volleyball), Jenna Noelte (girls soccer), David Plourde (boys soccer) and Shanna Travers (cheerleading).
