TOWN -- The Sandwich Recreation Department's website continues to promote a full slate of summer offerings, including access to Oak Crest Cove Park on Quaker Meetinghouse Road, home to a community-designed skate park, two regulation tennis courts and six pickleball courts, with reservations available through the department. The department's site also lists current program flyers covering a Summer Baseball Clinic, Summer Golf, the RideAway program, and a "B-Free Strength and Stretch" community yoga class, along with adult programming and a 2026 beaches flyer.
YOUTH LEAGUES -- Sandwich Soccer Club announced that the South Coast Soccer League has decided not to adopt new age-based registration requirements set out by US Youth Soccer, meaning registrations will continue to be grade-based, the club said in a post dated June 9. Separately, the club's site states that online registration for Fall 2026 is open, with players able to save $25 on the registration fee by signing up before July 15.
No new dated updates were posted this period by Sandwich Little League, Sandwich Youth Basketball, the Sandwich 100 Club (Sandwich High School hockey booster organization) or Sandwich Youth Lacrosse.
