Nauset Schools Approve New Finance Chief at $180,000, Superintendent Raise to $244,530
ORLEANS — April 29, 2026 — Nauset Public Schools joint committee unanimously hires new finance chief and approves superintendent raise. The joint committee of the Nauset Regional School Committee and Superintendency Union 54 voted unanimously April 29 to appoint Dr. Beth Rigoglioso, currently Assistant Superintendent of Finance for the Brockton Public Schools, as the district's new Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations at a salary of $180,000 on a three-year contract, effective June 1, 2026. The committee also unanimously approved a 4.5 percent raise for Superintendent Glenn Graham for fiscal year 2027, bringing his annual salary to $244,530 — a figure Nauset Regional School Committee Chair Judith Schumacher justified by pointing to a year in which Graham arrived to find "no finance director, no assistant finance director" and guided five school districts through simultaneous staff turnover and a financial software conversion. The committee approved the 2026-27 school year calendar, with students starting September 8, 2026, due to a late Labor Day, and received a first look at a proposed memorandum of agreement that would be the first written document governing how the regional district and Union 54 have shared a superintendent since 1958.
