Orleans Cultural District Committee extends mini-grants, funds a 44 Main Street photo wall. Meeting with only four of five seats filled, the committee voted unanimously to extend its Creative Economy Mini-Grants pilot through August, September and December for a total of $2,700, after all six original grants, including one to Stephen Glock Jewelers, drew full interest. Committee member Paul presented a redesigned $1,330 photo installation for 44 Main Street, built with Orleans Cameras co-owner Jonathan, replacing large canvases with 21 lightweight framed images.

Staff liaison Jamie said "a continuation of the program could look however you wanted it to," while members flagged a $32 balance to close out and roughly $21,315.05 in grant funds that can roll into next fiscal year. The committee also capped a new pop-up concert coordinator's salary at $1,500 per season and authorized staff to act on its behalf through the summer, when the panel will not meet again until September.
