Christopher Hollow Road paving scheduled for Monday and Tuesday
The Department of Public Works has scheduled fresh asphalt paving on Christopher Hollow Road for Monday and Tuesday, while the town's Chamber of Commerce gears up for the 1st Mill Creek Rubber Ducky Derby this Friday, giving Sandwich residents a busy stretch of summer road work and community events to navigate.

The Town of Sandwich announced that hot mix asphalt paving is tentatively scheduled for Monday, July 27, and Tuesday, July 28, on Christopher Hollow Road and surrounding roadways, according to the town's News Flash feed. Crews will work daily from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., following resurfacing work that began on the road earlier this month.
The town is continuing to seek volunteers for an Alternate/Associate Member seat on the Conservation Commission, a role focused on protecting Sandwich's wetlands and open spaces, per the town's ongoing recruitment notice.

The Sandwich Chamber of Commerce hosts the 1st Mill Creek Rubber Ducky Derby on Friday, July 24, according to the town's events calendar. The Sandwich Town Band's Summer Concert Series continues later this month with a performance on Thursday, July 30.
